Speaking to reporters about the situation in Georgia, Sen. John McCain denounced the aggressive posture of Russia by claiming that:"in the 21st century nations don't invade other nations."

Are Republican missing the "self-awareness" gene, or do they have an extra chutzpah gene?

One of W's significant problems in addressing Russia's incursion into Georgia is that he has pretty much forfeited the right to speak about the illegitimacy of invading other countries.

McCain seems not to have noticed.

What would Obama do? To be honest, I don't know - but I find it difficult to believe that ANY Democratic President could foul things up any more that W has or McCain would.

Stop the madness!
