Recall: the media - MSM & non-traditional - wrote off John McCain in July 2007. Coverage of his campaign noted that he was now forced to carry his own bags. His fund-raising ability was questioned.
Phoenix-like, he rose from the ashes.

The very worst thing Obama supporters can do at this moment is become complacent.
The only poll that counts is 4 Nov.
Until the Electoral College selects Obama, McCain is a viable threat.

There are plenty of reasons to ridicule McCain and his policies... but I'd hold back from ridiculing his campaign.
