From the front lines in New Mexico (cont.)

Regarding NM Dem caucus votes: Commenter LP informs me that, "The count has to be done by February 15."

Local news tonight featured story with NM Dems promising to work 16-hour days to complete the count. (Apparently all regular ballots have been re-counted and they're now working on provisional ballots.)

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Volunteers began qualifying provisional ballots in New Mexico's Democratic presidential primary Saturday, and the party's top-ranking official promised every valid vote will be counted.

Four days after voters went to the polls to decide between Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama, party chairman Brian Colon still couldn't estimate how much longer the tedious process will last.
