FISA

I've been meaning to write about FISA for weeks... whenever I start I simply get overwhelmed.

But - Congress keeps giving me more time. It looks like I have at least through the weekend to get my thoughts down on virtual paper.

The very short version: The original 1978 version of FISA appalls me! Secret courts??? The idea of giving Govt more power to spy on us I find truly frightening.

That'll have to do for now.

I'll put my whole mind to getting full, more-or-less cogent arguments posted in the next couple of days.
