Hmmm... here's a thought

What happens if every Executive Department simply ignores W's dictates during his final months in office?

Seems like we might be seeing the beginnings of this already...
Think Progress reports that Mukasey, in an NPR interview, declared,
OK, let’s assume that the president wants, despite a finding of illegality under law, to have waterboarding done, who is it precisely that he’s going to get to do it? He would virtually have to do it himself.

NEW ORLEANS - After downplaying the risks for months, the Federal Emergency Management Agency said Thursday it will rush to move Gulf Coast hurricane victims out of roughly 35,000 government-issued trailers because tests found dangerous levels of formaldehyde fumes.
Okay, it's not much... but it may be a first: one of W's agencies acting on the basis of science.

Last fall's Iran NIE suggested the intelligence community would no longer be led by the nose by W/Cheney and their neocon enablers.

Now... if EPA decided to grant California's emissions waiver, we'd be seeing something truly amazing! (Yeah, I know: I'm not holding my breath.)
