This from the man who deliberately, pointedly, and publicly disengaged from the Israel/Palestinian peace process when he assumed office in 2001.

This from the man who is making, in the final year of his Presidency, his first official visit to the Mideast.

Of course, W believes that by simply asserting that a peace treaty will be signed before he leaves office, he has accomplished the deed! (See If beggars were horses..., below.)
