Who's serious: cognitive psychology & the Candidates

Cognitive science suggests that people can contemplate somewhere between three (3) and seven (7) ideas more-or-less simulatneously.

Which of the Candidates seems to be aware of this?
From their websites, here are the number of issues listed under "Issues" link:

Republicans:
Romney: 11
Huckabee: 19
McCain: 11
Giuliani: 12

Democrats:
Clinton: 12
Obama: 20 (!)
Edwards: 3

Who's serious? I'd give my vote to Edwards. All others have laundry lists.

Free advice to the candidates (worth every penny!): hone your message. Get down to 3-7 the number of key issues on which you are basing your candidacy. Twenty (20!) is too many. Trust me. (So is 12!)
